SOURCE: how to install front struts for a dodge caravan
the strut mounts on top with three studs and on the bottom with two bolts to the spindle support, you will need a spring compressor to exchange the spring, its a good idea to install new bearing plates, when reassembling make sure the spring plate is lined up properly, get repalcement cam bolts for the bottom and then get the vehicle realigned, while you are it its a good idea to check the ball joints and tie rods for any looseness,

Mitsubishi 3.0, right?
Believe it or not, the firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6. The distributor turns counterclockwise.
The cylinders are numbered like this:
(firewall side)
1 3 5
2 4 6
(radiator side)
So, as you can see, # 3 is the CENTER cylinder on the firewall side.
