I have been using mine for about a month. I walk all night at work doing security at an outdoor mall in Texas . It works amazing especially in the stuffy parking garages and stairwells. I remember back when you were reviewing the 300 pound version and, yes, the price was a stopper. At nearly half the price, not as much.
I do wish it would last longer. Considering that one of the suggested uses is in an office, most people work longer than 3 hours and running it plugged in means you've got the plug against your neck. (They should move it to the outside.)
I can see a use case in the situation where your spouse likes it warmer than you do (and I'm pretty sure they all do. My inexact survey of a few hundred spouse pairs I come into contact with has revealed a nearly 100% figure.) With one of these, it can be tolerable for the both of you. I can also see it being useful in those cases in a office where "It's too cool to turn on the AC just yet." but also warm enough inside to liquify copper.

I bought the previous model after your video because of a medical condition that can be exacerbated by getting hot. Game changer for me and being outside, and recently let me Dad try it. He was going to get one and would gladly pay the price for the old model, but saving some money now to get the same cooling at the very least is awesome.

I bought AICE 3 for my dad last year after watching Paul's video. He suffers from hyperhidrosis and has long been unable to control his body temperature. All this has changed after using AICE 3. He no longer has any problems going out for walks in the summer. I must buy this new model. If you don't know what to choose as a Father's Day gift, this is the best one

I tested the temperature of the cooling pads on mine with one of those gun-shaped thermometers that everyone used during Covid. I got a reading of 16.2C, so really does go that low 👍

Hi Paul , thanks again for reviewing this “cooling device”. Also you did a great job being very specific where it can be used. Here in South Florida our temps are 35C almost everyday. Nothing that I have found so far can blow cold air when temps are this high and it’s extremely humid. I would love to find a device that would actually keep me cool at 35c and keep me from passing out! You continue to inform and entertain me and I so appreciate you. Thank you Paul! Just had the Pro version delivered, works really well.
Bit concerned about erratic battery levels reported in the app. It has twice gone to 45% & refused to go hot or cold. Hopefully a firmware update will fix in the future.
Wish they would also build some Apple Shortcuts commands to be really hands free.

What's the battery life on this thing, and can you actually feel the battery getting heated up over extended usage? I've got the torras coolify 3, and these are the 2 issues i had with it.

One suggestion for listing pros and cons:
A con would be if these devices do not have user-replaceable batteries. If they do, it's a major pro; otherwise, it's a major con as these devices will end up in a landfill prematurely.

Paul, I have bought equipment before on your recommendation and I have never been disappointed, so I have ordered this and I am sure it will be good.

Great content Paul, Love your reviews and the effort that goes into them. We find them very entertaining. On the off chance anyone reads this , does anyone know how this compares to the coolify 2? Both are similar prices. This one is a bit cheaper thanks to Paul’s code so I’m inclined to go down this route and hope it will help with my frequent migraines :)

Pun No.1 was Paul claiming it's (fan)tastic. Also, if you have a heavy duty power bank you can walk about for ages with it. Far longer than the 3 hours which seems a lot in itself.

Might have to get one of these for the Mrs.🤔

Thermoelectric cooling in a fridge? That's a no no, In a fridge you have a heat pump, as it's much more efficient ;)

I have this device as well. really like the way it cools me. one issue i have though. when I have this switched off completely (also in accordance with the instruction given by customer support) I still experience the device loosing charge......so when I am not using it a few days it is only at 50% even if it was fully charged. anyone else have this issue?

Discount now works on Amazon, so i have purchased it for my dad who has to have hormone injections for his prostate cancer, and one of the side effects is hot flushes, as he's now technically a menopausal 72 year old man. Hoping this helps him cope with the flushes 😊

This looks great, I have one of them ones with the fans in which are great unless you have a beard, for some strange reason they feel the need to put the fans the suck in the ait on the inside of the device, steeling the air you breath and chopping my beard up every time I slightly move my head.
Why they don't put the bloody intakes on the outside I don't know. This looks great however and I might sell a child to get one lol.

@paulhibbert OK, got mine and I love it, however, I've two issues with it. First, the beeping from the unit is a bit of a pain and since it's pretty close to your ears it would be great if it could be silenced or at least turned down, even if you had to use the app for that. Second, I think a carry or travel case would be a great option for this. If you want to take it anywhere, holiday etc. having a nice little case to put it in so as not to damage the hinge would be great. 😃

It would have been ideal to check what the heat temp was exiting the vents. for outdoor use its not an issue but for indoor use its possible its just going to heat up the area around you. The tech behind this unit is very basic and the same thats used in mini fridges so it wont be long before someone clones it and makes a cheap version £160 is still a bit high for what it is

As a hot-head, this would definitely help me, though I'm not so sure it will help those going through the change.

Be careful if you do decide to sleep with this on. According to the diagram on the Quick Guide (I bought one after watching your review, so it better be good! 😉) the air intake is at the back of the neck. If you have that pushed against a pillow all night I can imagine this burning out in short order, no matter how cool you have it set to. 😅

Hello, before I buy anything I refer to your reviews first. Thankyou. My findings and would appreciate any feedback. (i) The heat at 50c is rubbish (unless I have a faulty version), its not really hot, at that temp. (ii) The cooling function is good but it does not make you feel cool all over/regulated, its just on the neck area. (iii) Heatpad is pants, it's just the heating at a lower temp, no need for extra category. It is louder than expected. (iv) It would be great if it was wider for more coverage (v) Should have a charge cover (vi) Should come in a cloth bag for storage - but not a deal breaker. Does anyone think that the heat function is powerful? I give this a 5.5/10.

Why wouldn't you have a machine washable removable fabric liner for the same reason leather car seats suck balls. Burn you in the summer and sticky and freezing cold in the winter

I bought this one and sadly it’s not that great. The peltier plate concept is cool and if I could wear it across my forehead or as a bracelet I think it would be a lot more effective. The fan just isn’t as strong as the cheap alternatives and when it’s around your neck that is the primary cooling method.
