Hey ho! Let’s go! Zdob si Zdub are back on the Eurovision stage for the first time, and we’ve sorely missed their unique brand of wackiness. In collaboration with the Advahov brothers, they channel the Ramones with this enhanced rock and roll version of “Trenuletul”. It’s already played on Moldovan TV, but hearing a snippet of the new studio cut in all its glory gives us a better look at what to expect for Eurovision. The violinist and accordionist are dressed in black and white leisure suits, while the leader wears red and blue. The lighting, again, is purple. It’s chaos personified, but the exact kind of chaos we love. Qualifying right now is hard to predict, but it will be a treat in the semi-finals.
