BORGER - Billy V. Floyd, 88, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2002.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Bunavista Baptist Church with the Rev. David Langen, pastor of the church, and the Rev. Philip Hilton, pastor of Sunray Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Floyd was born May 30, 1914, in Erath County and had lived in Borger since 1944. He retired from Phillips Petroleum Production Department in 1979 where he worked for 35 years.
He married Ruby Jones on Feb. 20, 1938, in Amarillo. He was a charter member of Bunavista Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bill Floyd and wife, Holly, of Kansas City, Kan., and Mike Floyd and wife, Nancy, of Borger; a daughter, Wanda L. Rowe and husband, Fred, of Bartlesville, Okla.; two sisters, Mildred J. Hoggard of Hedley and Mary Ellen Wade of Panhandle; and eight grandchildren.
